Introduction to Navigation

This course is aimed at complete beginners, and will equip you with the necessary skills required to safely and competently navigate across open terrain, in a variety of conditions.

This is typically a two day course, taking place on the lovely rolling hills of Bodmin Moor.  The duration can be tailored to individual needs.


Advanced Navigation

Designed for those who already have some navigational experience, but would like to fine tune their skills and become faster and more accurate on the hill, this course will cover advanced techniques in more detail.

Again, this course is typically a two day course, taking place on the lovely rolling hills of Bodmin Moor. A percentage of this course will be undertaken in either poor weather conditions or under the cover of darkness.

The duration, however, can be tailored to individual needs.


Personal Hill Walking Skills

For the complete beginner, looking to venture off the beaten track, this one day course will enable you to gain the skills to negotiate rough ground, and gain an understanding of basic map work and navigation skills.


Mountaineering

Mountaineering courses can be provided on a bespoke basis, as per an individual or group’s requirements.  These courses can include either bunkhouse accommodation or wild camping.
